Good question! I will sometimes close Commission slots as to prevent overcrowding. Or, if I know I'm going to be busy in the near future, I'll close my slots to prevent extremely long waiting periods.
"Hey, why does it say your commission slots are 'closed '?"
Occasionally, I'll sell my artwork at a convention or two, but generally I do most of my work online. Balancing out a day job, school, and art can sometimes be tasking. But, I love it all none the less.
I want to give a huge thank you to my mother- who's always looking out for my best interests. My boyfriend, who supports me in everything I do.
And also my dad, who was the first one to literally hold my hand and make me draw. I love you all and thank you for everything you've shown and given me.
I asked you to draw me something, and you said "no". Why?
"I received your Email with my art piece and I no longer want it, can I have a refund?"
Firstly, thank you very much for the interest in my work, I'm very flattered. I use my art to assist in purchasing school books, paying for bills, or assisting in other living necessities. So whereas I wish you nothing but the best in your project, If this is not a request where currency is exchanged for services I will have to politely decline the offer.
Commission slots are:
Art and Illustrations by Nichola Manson
As an artist, I do reserve the right to say "no" to a request. I apologize if this offends or upsets anyone. I usually have reasons of which I will tell you personally in private as to why I do not want to do the piece.
My Name is Nichola Manson, I'm 28 years old, in school for Mortuary Sciences, and I've always had a deeply rooted love for art and colors. I've been drawing and doodling since I could pick up a pencil. I didn't start honing any form of style until I was 14.
"Could you do something for my Comic book/card game/ project- It'll be good exposure!"
I am very sorry you did not like the work. Regrettably, I do not offer refunds. Once someone has received the piece- there is no way I can take back the data and thus it could still be posted anywhere.
